NSDA will be hosting Barb Stegemann, local author and motivational speaker, for an afternoon of networking and introduction to her recent book, The 7 Virtues of a Philosopher Queen: A woman’s guide to living and leading in an illogical world.

Barb Stegemann is a real life example of the power of philosophy and self discovery in leading a happy and successful life. She came from humble beginnings and through the power of philosophy and visualization she uncovered (and continues to discover) the leader within. Guided by a vision that she could make a difference, nothing has prevented her from reaching her goals
THE NOVA SCOTIA DOULA ASSOCIATION
The Nova Scotia Doula Association (NSDA) is a membership organization devoted to the development of the doula profession and to supporting its members. By providing educational, emotional and physical support for doulas the NSDA will work to improve the quality of labour support offered to women and their families in Nova Scotia. All proceeds from this event will go to benefit the NSDA. This year’s goal is to start an education fund that will be used to help members achieve continuing education credits, often not available locally.
