Juice and Healthy Drinks
Most parents are conscious not to give soda to kids thinking that it is not healthy but don’t rely on the citric acid that is available in kids sports drinks. Water is the best alternative and further you can give them milk, which is a good source of calcium and vitamin D which is good for health. Try to avoid foods that are chewy and sugary like dried fruits.

Foods which are starchy, like the whole grain pasta, get converted to sugar which gets deposited in the teeth. Chewable multivitamins also tend to erode the enamel. You should see to that your kid brushes twice a day or at least rinses their mouth with water once they have multi-vitamins.

Snack-All-Day
If your child loves having snacks, then don’t allow them to have a snack the whole day. If you have the habit of giving them juice or milk in a sipper, then you are always exposing their teeth to sugar. Your child should follow a schedule in having snacks only at specific times of the day. Motivate them to brush their teeth soon after they wait or drink them.
